ProgramME MANAGEMENT

Don't let development overtake you!

Running a programme that underpins the overall strategy of the company is more demanding than running ordinary projects. We make sure that you gain maximum value from your programmes.

A large initiative is organized and manned in another way than a project. In some organisations it is called ‘a programme’, others call it large projects and others use the word ‘change initiatives’. Regardless of the name, ’programmes’ has several characteristics that makes them different from projects, cf. the figure below.

Programmes vs Projects

A programme is always closely connected to the strategy and the competitive position of the company. This means that the ability to transform strategic initiatives into operational activities is in focus. There is also always a vast number of stakeholders involved, making impartiality a great advantage. The fact that kaastrup|andersen is not a part of the organization forms the basis for a genuine, objective focus on creating and running a successful programme.

Wherever we contribute, we measure our contribution in progress. Without progress there is an impending risk that the development outpaces the initiative. This is especially true for programmes. And if that happens, the investment may be lost. kaastrup|andersen takes initiative and shows drive to ensure the progress, which is the basis for the success of the programme.
